Testimonials
From former students...
Great professor! Make class very fun and exciting. Be prepared to work. High expectations. Very pleasant and always has a smile on her face. She makes you excited about what you are doing.
I came thinking I wouldn't really learn much; boy was I wrong. Professor Doyle is an exceptional English teacher. She quickly identifies students strengths and weaknesses to shore up deficiencies and hone newly acquired skills. Sort of like your first grade teacher, this is a professor
you will remember long after you leave...
Really inspiring. So interesting to talk to. She has a way of helping you connect your experience to deeper ideas.
Didn't think I was a thinker that way.
She's a great English professor, you will definitely become a better writer leaving her class. Her feedback is great. She'll make you work hard for a good grade.
I can't believe how amazing my essay turned out. She makes you read it out loud so you can hear your words. It actually gave me chills when I heard what I wrote.
Love that she challenges her students. Give her your best and she will give you the best. She knows if you're slacking and can do better. Really enjoyed her class... Thanks, Professor :)
She makes writing essays very easy. She breaks down the process and goes over everyone's drafts. In the morning she goes over the new news on the essay topic...Best English teacher ever.
I am also gonna take her again.
My mom cried when she read my essay. Once she showed me how to really connect to what I was writing, my supplemental essays were so much easier.
She is honestly the best. Her classes are very interesting but you write a lot which is normal for an English class. She gives you the opportunity to rewrite your papers to boost up your grade. The topics for essays and classwork are amazing and it makes you want to write more. She always tries to make things interesting for her students.
Intelligent woman. She pushes you to think outside the box. Even if you think you aren't a good writer, she finds the parts of what you write that matter and you end up making these really creative essays. She crossed out two entire paragraphs, and told me to start in the middle. It made sense once she said it. I wasted a lot of words.
